You can be Volunteers!

March 2, 2025 (Sunday),Rainbow Volunteers Appreciation Banquet: Our volunteers come from all walks of life and have busy lives, but they enthusiastically and actively volunteer in RM to support special needs children and their families in China…

"I am usually very busy. I have to work overtime and sometimes at night. It takes time for volunteer work, but I think you can take time to do it if you want to.”
"When we see there is a need, I believe that’s the way God tells us to do it, and so we’ll do it."
"As long as my time allows, I would like to free up a lot of time to do a variety of volunteer activities.”
"I just had a business trip and felt I could attend RM’s gathering and meet everyone here.”
They empathize with and care for special needs children and families in the field…
"I don’t have a full understanding, but because I used to live in China, I saw that the blind are very miserable. They can't see much. You can care for their special needs."
"I remember a family who had a child with autism, and he was very active. Even the mom couldn't get him to quiet down. I can tell this family had a lot of difficulties.”
"They have to put in a lot of effort to get some very simple things done. I think they need a lot of help.”
An appreciation of the value and meaning of life…
"It is often said that volunteering is to help others. But I think that volunteerism is not only to help others, but it also fosters my own personal and spiritual growth.”
“I’m interested in contributing to the community. I really think it is a very joyous experience."
"Other people have helped me a lot before, and I hope I can offer support for others as well.”
"It's not just about us helping them, it's that we see their life stories so we will know God better."
"This is my daughter. This is my husband. RM has helped special needs children in China. I’ve been very touched watching them do this amazing work. So, I wanted to get involved as well.”
" I really thank God for the opportunity to volunteer because health is also given by God, so every day I feel I can do some volunteer work. It feels good. It helps me -- and the children -- and gives back to the community."
“Very thankful that God gives me time and good organizational skills. I can use my time to volunteer …….”
“RM is a very meaningful organization that supports special needs children in China. They express this kind of selfless love in fascinating and impressive ways. It’s a great blessing to work together and a joy to see these children growing up healthy and with a future.”
"So today at this volunteer appreciation dinner, would you, as a fellow RM staff, say a word to the volunteers?”
"Come on, everyone, let’s draw a beautiful rainbow together——“
